Welcome to the personal web space of Bill & Sandy Stine!

The site is about our special adventures as well as some other stuff. Most of you will read it simply to keep up with what's going on in our latest adventure. Perhaps some of you will live vicariously through this site or, hopefully, find it to be an inspiration as you head out on your own.

However you use it, it's a work in progress. We hope you enjoy it!

We are fortunate to have been able to retire early. Typically, we spend our summers sailing on the Chesapeake Bay and our winters cross-country skiing, mostly in the north-east. But we're also doing our best to take advantage of our situation to have a few other adventures.

For instance, we took a trip around the world in 1999/2000 to visit Australian friends who live in Melbourne. Along the way we did a short stint in New Zealand and another visiting a nephew and his wife who were living in Dubai, UAE.

Then, in October of 2003 we left to spend eight months sailing our boat, a 1983, 34-ft O'Day sailboat, down the ICW to spend the winter in the Bahamas.

Finally, we spent the warm months of 2006 touring many of the US National Parks, towing our hard-sided Aliner pop-up camper. We called our trip the Tin Tent Tour.
